The benefits of working with a staffing agency

Looking for a job can be frustrating. You put in applications, check back, and wait for a call that might never come. If you are worn out from the hunt, maybe it’s time to turn it over to the professionals.

A staffing agency, or employment agency, not only offers great opportunities to land a job, it can offer great benefits, and the security of knowing you have a team who is rooting for you.

Get hired, fast!

Staffing agencies have the resources and expertise to help you get hired, fast. How?
  • You have a team of professionals looking out for employment opportunities for you.
  • Staffing agencies work with a wide range of companies with many positions to fill – some jobs that you may not have thought about or didn’t even know they existed!
  • Services are free, so why not? LandrumHR Workforce Solutions does not charge employees for staffing services.

Once you create an account, you are good to go! You can view and apply for a variety of jobs that are available on the online job board. You can also get email and text updates when new jobs are added. All while the recruiters are keeping you in mind for the positions they are working to fill. (Of course, you are still free to seek and accept any job you want, even if it isn’t from LandrumHR.)

Finding a job that’s right for you

Getting a great job is just the first benefit – there are a lot of other good things about working for a staffing agency.

It’s a chance to try a job that is temp-to-hire. You can start out as a staffing agency employee, but then you do such a great job the company wants to hire you! Temp-to-hire is a chance for employers to get to know you, and for you to try a job and see if it is a good fit.

Working with a staffing agency can also mean having more control over your schedule and career path.

LandrumHR offers three employment options:
  • Temporary assignments have a start and end date. They can range from a few hours to a few weeks or even longer. These assignments are a great option if you're looking to make some extra cash, need a temporary job, or if you're looking to "test" out a new industry!
  • Contract-to-Direct assignments mean you can be hired by the company after going through a trial period, usually 15 weeks. If the company feels like you are a good fit, they can choose to hire you directly!
  • Direct Placement is when LandrumHR assists the client company with recruiting and screening for candidates to be directly placed in their organization with no trial period.
