Governor Rick Scott Appoints Britt Landrum, III to Board of Employee Leasing Companies

Pensacola, Fla. – January 18, 2016 –– Britt Landrum III, President of LandrumHR, was recently appointed by Florida Governor Rick Scott to the Board of Employee Leasing Companies. His term began January 7, 2016, and will continue through October 31, 2018.

The Board of Employee Leasing Companies is responsible for licensing and regulating employee leasing companies. The seven member board meets regularly to consider applications for licensure, to review disciplinary cases, and to conduct informal hearings relating to licensure and discipline. The board engages in rulemaking to implement the provisions set forth in its statutes and conducts other general business, as necessary.

Landrum is a board member of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO), serving on the Membership and Accounting Practices Committees. He also serves as Secretary of the Executive Board of PayPlus Software; a leading provider of payroll software for the PEO, ASO and Payroll Service Industries. In 2015, Britt was elected to the board of the Employer Services Assurance Corporation (ESAC); an accreditation and financial assurance program for the professional employer organization (PEO) industry.

Landrum has been with his company 24 years, and assumed the role of president in 2015. A graduate of Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Landrum is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.  He is married; has three sons, and resides in Gulf Breeze, Fl.
