*A Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 3 years’ experience in an EHS role in a manufacturing (or like industry/military field) environment.

*Conducts new hire orientation safety training. Training is to focus on site specific safety topics and general OSHA awareness training.
* Attends weekly safety meeting held on Mondays to represent the company and report out status of current safety projects.
* Responsible for conducting incident investigation on all events - human and equipment.
* Support activities, which drive compliance with EHS regulation and company policies.
*Maintain knowledge of existing and proposed regulations.
*Provide technical guidance and training at the facility level.
*Analyze data to assess environment, health and safety challenges, and to develop approaches to control.
*Provide administrative support to the EHS team in creating training files, documenting near misses, communication best practices, data entry into company data base.
*General communication to the Site Leadership Team.
*Complete Illness & Injury/Accident Investigation Reports.
*Attend bi-weekly Accident Review Board (ARB) meeting to communicate incidents and corrective actions.
*Hold weekly safety meetings with Site Leadership Team to communicate and discuss current incidents, status of safety projects, improvement opportunities and receive feedback from the group.
*Train employees in identification and reporting of safety hazards.
*Attend Toolbox Safety Meetings.
*Assist Supervisors in completing New Employee Orientation Checklist.
Compensation and Schedule: This position is full-time and pays $22. 00 per hour. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a. m. to 3:30 p. m. with some flexibility as needed.
Assignment Type:This assignment is considered Contract-to-Direct, meaning you will remain on Landrum’s payroll for at least 15 weeks. Once the 15 weeks is over, your employer can elect to bring you onto their payroll or extend the assignment out longer through Landrum.
