*The company’s culture is customer oriented and fast pace. The dress code will be Casual/Industrial with closed toed shoes; other proper safety clothing will be assigned. The Water and Sewer Lines Tech will be under supervision of the Wastewater Operations Manager repairing broken lines, installing new lines, and maintaining the lift stations.
* Perform manual labor: installing, repairing and maintaining water and sewer lines
*Digs holes and ditches with shovel and other hand tools.
*Cleans and maintains tools and equipment.
*Responsible for keeping site and grounds clean and neat.
*Performs daily equipment checks as needed.
*Performs work safely in accordance with departmental safety procedures and operates equipment safely. Reports any unsafe work condition or practice to supervisor.
*Hand excavation and back fill of trenches in soil and pavement.
*Places crushed stone bedding and fill. Dewaters excavations.
*Cleans around and paints fire hydrants.
*Seeds and does other dress-up work.
*May assist with grounds keeping of physical plants to include mowing and trimming.
*May assist with cleaning and maintenance of physical plants to include warehouse and parking lots.
*Performs other related and non-related duties as assigned.

*Ability to accept instructions and work autonomously
*High school Graduate or GED; Valid Florida Driver's License
*Prior work experience in an industrial/mechanical setting preferred.
*Operating or working alongside backhoe, loader, forklift or related material handling equipment experience preferred
*Pipe Crew Laborer will report to the Water Operations Manager as required to fulfill overall labor needs. Responsible for various activities in support of the company operations. Performs manual labor and learns to perform semi-skilled work in the maintenance, operation, repair and construction of the distribution & collection systems.
Compensation and Schedule:
*This position pays $11. 00/hour or higher depending on experience
*The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
*This assignment is considered “Contract-to-Direct,” meaning you will remain on Landrum’s payroll for at least 12 weeks. Once the 12 weeks is over, your employer can elect to bring you onto their payroll or extend the assignment out longer through Landrum.
