A hospital in Fort Walton Beach is in need of a full time Patient Ambassador to join their team.
*Providing nutritional care to patients by spending quality patient time
*Assisting in menu selection when necessary
*Providing patient meal delivery and patient set-up with direct patient contact
*Receiving and processing phone orders as required
*Identifying patients who have not ordered meals with the assistance of the tray tracking system
*Updating the food preference and nourishment information and relaying pertinent information to the Clinical Dietitian or Supervisor.
*A team player who can work well with others
*Able to maintain a positive attitude.
*Willing to maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.
*Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.
*Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
*Ability to use a computer.
*Ability to provide clear directions and respond to employees.
*Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
*High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
*No previous work experience required.
* The Cook I will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
Compensation and Schedule:
*Pay starts at $10. 00/hour depending on experience
*Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
*This assignment is considered “Contract-to-Direct,” meaning you will remain on Landrum’s payroll for at least 15 weeks. Once the 15 weeks is over, your employer can elect to bring you onto their payroll or extend the assignment out longer through Landrum.
