A property management company in Miramar Beach is seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist to join their team of 60 employees. The company is positive with a modern beach culture. The company is located in Sandestin, please only apply if you are commutable to Sandestin.

You Enjoy:


*Preparing and maintaining the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
*Performing benefits administration, arrange benefit open enrollment for eligible employees; enroll employees in selected insurance plans; generate COBRA notifications.
*Conducting recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, and writes and places advertisements.
*Handling employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
*Participating in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
*Maintaining human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
*Maintaining compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
*Preparing and inputting payroll data.
*Responsible for the FMLA for all employees.
*Processing all status, pay changes and terminations.
*Participating and/or play a lead role in both large and small training projects.
*Processing all invoices for Human Resources department.
*Conducting background checks, drug testing, and driving record.
*Overseeing the administration of workers’ compensation, including working with the insurance carrier to reduce employee lost time.
*Handling outside requests for verification of employment
*Looking for ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness.

You Are:


*Analytical with the ability to synthesizes complex or diverse information
*Intuitive and can work with little direction and supervision
*Competent in a variety of Human Resources and Benefits regulation
*Able to assesses your own strengths and weaknesses and seek feedback to improve performance
*Customer service driven with the ability to manage difficult or emotional employee situations
*Versed in various recruitment skills; familiar with recruiting sources; exhibits sound interviewing skills; presents positive, realistic view of the organization; analyzes and forecasts staffing needs.

You Have:


*At least two years of experience in Benefits
*Strong written and oral communication skills
* A Nurturing Personality - Exhibits confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well.
*Knowledge of EEO policy; shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; promotes a harassment-free environment; builds a diverse workforce.

Job Qualifications:


*Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
*Knowledge of database software, internet software, payroll systems, spreadsheet software, and word processing software
*Valid Florida driver license
*Ability to lift and/or move 25 pounds

Compensation and Schedule:


* Compensation for this position start at $40, 000 depending on experience.
* This position is full-time with Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm schedule

*This assignment is considered “Contract-to-Direct,” meaning you will remain on Landrum’s payroll for at least 15 weeks.
