A health care company in Pensacola is in need of a temporary, with possibility of long-term, Patient Accounts Specialist to join their team. *Keying Medicaid and Medicare DOE (Direct Data Entry).
*Completing verifications and insurance authorizations.
*Sending emails through Outlook.
*Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills – being courteous, professional, and helpful – are critical for this job.
*Relaying information accurately to others.
*Reading Comprehension – Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
*Time Management – Managing one’s own time.
*Speaking – talking to others to convey information effectively.
*Writing – communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
*Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
*A High School Diploma or GED.
*Knowledge in general office practices and procedures.
*Ability to function with frequent interruptions and handle more than one project at a time.
*Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
*Experience with insurance authorization and insurance collections is required.
*Dependable transportation with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Compensation and Schedule:
*This position is full-time and pays $13. 00/Hour.
*Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a. m. to 4:30 p. m.
Assignment Type:This assignment is considered Contract, meaning you will remain on LandrumHR’s payroll until the company deems the assignment ends.
